Sitting. I walked the dog to the groomer to get her nails cut. When I got there I wondered why I chose to walk.

Worrying about my ENT appointment tomorrow. I have a hearing test before I see the doctor and am anxious to see what it says. The last one I had showed significant low frequency loss and I've already had two gents shots which does not help the hearing as we all know. Scared it's gotten worse. Then not looking forward to possibly having to get another gent shot tomorrow. They hurt like hell.

The appointment both with the doctor and the hearing test sucked big time. I've been pissed and upset all day about it. The doctor is an ass and upset me with his smart ass comment about how can I have balance issues on the right side yet able to walk down the hall. He went to the front desk with me to tell them to schedule me for a vng and while the receptionist was talking to me he said to her: "taaaalk reeeeal slooooow soo sheee caaaan understaaaaand yooou".

Are you kidding me? I would have said, fu$$ing excuse me but is that the way professional Drs speak within hearing distance of their patients and I would have been loud.

Can we Google something to prove he's wrong?
I know there's got to be something.
Why don't you post it in the Living room and see if anyone knows.
    Tell the story there.

I'm trying to finish a puzzle I've been working on. I'm this close.

Nope not kidding. Not kidding at all. I posted something about the balance and walking comment in the Living Room but forgot to put the front desk comment in there. Honestly, I was speechless. I could hear the lady just fined. It's just my low frequency in my right ear and the left ear has a small degree of loss. There was no need for any one to talk sloooowly for me to understand or hear her. She was literally three or four feet away, just on the other side of the front desk.

I'm telling you, I would have pitched a fit. I'd tell them you're reporting it to your insurance company which you actually do and I don't think it's good for the Dr either.
Isn't there someone else you could go to?

What in the world would the insurance company do? I'm sure there is someone else I could go to but I'd have to do some digging. Supposedly this doctor is supposed to be really good from what my first ENT said. I've never in my life had a doctor make me feel so discounted. Needless to say I was obsessing and upset over this whole issue today and of course it interfered with my anniversary. What on earth is he trying to say? I can't even put in to words how pissed I was when I left that office today. My daughter went back there with me and he kept telling me that I needed to go home and rest and told my daughter to make sure I rested when I got home. He asked me how I got there this morning and I told him my husband did and he's in the waiting room.

So does this doctor just have bad bedside manners or is it just me? I can be over sensitive at times but I felt insulted. I'll go get that dang test again on Monday and then go back to him to follow up. I'm going to sleep now. I'm exhausted. I have to workkdbfe
