Thanks Bonlyn. Sorry to hear your case is so complex, and the waiting... so frustrating. Been there. At least the wait gives us time to try other stuff, but yeah once you feel ready to get drastic the wait is another bit of torture.

Sometimes I like to fight, or perhaps the better word choice would be to grapple with that I cannot beat, simply because it's great exercise.

Sometimes I do exactly what you're doing *chuckles

    Sometimes, sometimes

It was just lentil soup and a green salad. The salad had the last of this season's Italian cucumbers that I grow.

Right now I am sitting in my very quiet office listening to the clock tick. Other people take sounds like that for granted. I don't.

Oh I love lentil soup, can't have as part of MAV restrictions. I hope when I can retire I can move somewhere and have a small garden. Right now I just have some herb plants, like basil.

I know what you mean with the sounds. I USED to walk daily, but now with so much imbalance, lucky to do it 3 x a week. The other day as I was walking, I was listening to the birds chirp and started crying, hoping as my hearing diminishes I will still be able to hear their song. There is something hopeful about the music from the birds, it fills the heart.

Abreast the difficulty accepting, objecting, or treating with indifference that which they never knew existed, I can imagine a furniture generation perplexed by the concept of a ticking clock.

Erm, future. A future generation. "Furniture generation" may well be confused with the (& my) earlier Ikea generation.

Once in high school football practice during hitting drills I hit kid and he didn't get up and ambulance took him away. I did something to his neck and he could never play football again. He's fine.
