90’s flashbacks! This was my Alanis Morissette phase. My mother was so proud.

    Destroyer

Guy influenced by (I would guess), Sgt Pepper era Beatles. ELO. Wordy-cerebral Dylan.

I got into him around 2007. Not even sure if he's still around. If you like this, some of his other good songs are:

    Dream Lover
    Kaputt
    Song for America
    The Music Lovers
    The Sublimation Hour
    The Bad Arts
    The River

Anyone else want to gag over the slew of new releases, or singing events that are quarantine/pandemic related? Too many refrains of, "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here!" And synth heavy choruses of, "Stars, they're NOTHING like us!"

    Bob Dylan? The Rolling Stones?

The Tea Party's Alarum is an extraordinary song. It's a near perfect auditory representation of hyperpyrexia.

Nine Inch Nails - The Perfect Drug (Dead by Accident Remix)

The slower, simpler, quieter, & withdrawn coda of NIN's The Percept Drug, as heard in the above remix as a prelude, is so incredibly beautiful.
