Hello all. After putting life on hold for the past year, I realized I quit doing many things more out of fear than because of issues with Menieres. With the help from member of this site, I've started to reclaim my life bit by bit and I thank all of you. This past week I: 1. Took a road trip out of state doing all the driving for a wedding to see old friends. 2. Climbed on the roof and watched an amazing display of fireworks around the whole valley. Last year I wouldn't have even considered either. Thank you all again for your information, encouragement and inspiration.
Recently I rode a bike. I have to say it wasn't as easy as I remembered it being. I was wobbly and starting and stopping were challenging. The longer I rode the more confident I felt. It's definitely not one of the things I easily did before. Also, riding amusements with my grandchildren. Horrors! I cannot do that anymore. I miss it. A lot.
I talked mommy into a road trip out west this winter, just rent a Winnebago, put the kids in it and let's go see California for Christmas 2 week break. Hopefully she can make time to get off work.
Sounds like fun, I hope it works out! I bit the bullet and rode the Log Flume this weekend. No adverse effects and so much fun!!!!
