What has been your experience with Hydrochlorothiazide ? Here is mine......

Am on Triamterene. It spiked my tinnitus so badly I went on prednisone. I’m staying away. Low sodium is the way forward for me

 

I took it for about 18 months to reduce fluid retained in my legs and feet. The amlodipine that I took for blood pressure caused the fluid to build in my legs.

I got my blood pressure under better control by losing weight and ditched the amlodipine and the hydrochlorothiazide. Neither drug had any affect on my MAV and tinnitus. I can’t tell any difference with or without them.
