I suck at it as well.
It is a very difficult game after having a few drinks.

I do love ping pong though.

Today I learned that maybe it would be best for my youngest to to join a union and be a master plumber, electrician or HVAC technician after he told me he hates school and wants to drop out. He only likes lunch, PE and Recess. He is in 2nd grade.

Under my breath I was saying to myself awesome!!! You just saved my about half a million dollars.

    I love ping pong, too.
I asways to learn how to play pool and imagined myself doing all those teasing shots.

Most kids start to hate school at that age. You just try to talk to them about how important it is now.
They're probably going to complain about school until they graduate and want to go to a College in another state, lol.

He is having problems with reading and is seeing a tutor for help. He hates reading but his math scores are in the 98%. Reading scores in the 20% range. He can read great, he just does not retain what he reads. He gets frustrated.

My daughter had a similar problem. We had her tested and they found that she had a learning disability. What sucks about that was she left class to see the team thus missed class time and faced ridicule.
I probably would not do it that way now.

I'm sure you let him pick out some of his own books that are age appropriate...
    Goosebumps
    The Wimpy kid
I've seen my grands reading them.
I also got them a fantastic book about Wolves that the oldest got through okay. The pics were awesome, that helps, too.

  5. I'm good at air hockey :) pocket pool? Eh!

BD, he's young. Things will change. My kid use to say "I'm not allowed to be a boy at school". It was very hard for him to sit still.

Tried to help shoveling. After about a half an hour I learned I'm not as young as I used to be and I'm definitely not in shape.

I have a feeling I'll be hurting tomorrow.

Bea you were not suppose to shovel!! Good effort on your part but hope you are not too hurting tomorrow. Take some advil and a good soak in the tub with epsom salts.

Yep, I started the Advil already! My shoulders, my neck, and my butt are what I'm feeling first.

Nothing a good shot of Fireball won't help.

Everyone was yelling at me but a snowball fight with the grands after building snowmen near a huge glass patio door where my mom and dad could watch was priceless.
