I have a horrible sinus infection that is kicking my butt.

 

Very early work day every day this week...husband out of town...sick kid.

 

What happened to 'Nothing Worse than…'? I know the original was deleted, though I recall Bea initiating another? Is it still around?

Regardless & on a negative note, worthy of this thread I suppose, headlines such as "You Decide Which Animal is the Deadliest in the Animal Kingdom - Lion vs Rhino" are annoying. Perhaps more importantly, this headline is an all-encompassing example of our desires to decide what is & is not objectively true. An objective truth is true, regardless of what you believe or choose.

Truths are not for us to decide. IT'S A FACT THAT A RHINOCEROS WILL CRUSH A LION EACH & EVERY TIME.

Wait, woolgathering? I had to look that bad boy up. Is that, when noting or pertaining to either carelessness or forgetfulness, where "woolliness" derives from? Or vice versa? My mother constantly called me "woolly" when I was younger because I constantly lost my school sweater. I lost my school sweater due to my "woolliness", apparently.

Yes, you could say that, though being torn between British roots & American influence - particularly America's strong hold on film & media - it's not uncommon to hear an Aussie use either.
