I wish I had the energy of an aerobics instructor and the mind of a motivational guru. Hell why stop there? And make me look like Hugh Jackman too.
Pupper, you crack me up! I'm wondering why my dog has had to have two tumours removed in the last month. I'm so grateful for the staff at the vet clinic. They were so compassionate with her and me. The vet was awesome. He didn't charge me for the second surgery. I only had to pay for the anaesthetic, biopsy and pain meds. I thought that was pretty reasonable. Now I just need to work on not worrying about her. Good luck with that.
Thanks, Marta. This surgery was more invasive than the first one. She was quite uncomfortable and bewildered last night after the surgery in the afternoon. She's much better today. How was your holiday? Are you home now? Did you get lots of ice cream after all your hard work?
Melc, Thinking about your dog. She's had a pretty rough time lately. Hope this is the last of it. How's she doing? I'm sure you're showing her lots of love.
She's perked up quite well, Cheryl. Thanks for asking. The first night of her surgery was rough. She's been snoozing out on the deck in her bed most of the day Thankfully she's not chewing or licking the suture line so she doesn't have to wear an e Cone. She's cuddling with me now. It makes us both feel better.
There's a place I go to that knows what I like to drink. On occasion the bartenders will say, "same old, same old?". I then ask them not to say that. We're all on friendly terms so I can speak easy with them. I tell them, "I really look forward to my drink, and when you say "same old, same old" it takes all the fun out of it. It's like you're offering me a smelly old sweatshirt." What a drab saying. I hate it.
