23. Supposed to be in the low teens at daybreak with wind chills near 0. That's a big deal for central NC!

According to the National Weather Service, the air temperature here was -22 with a wind chill factor of -43 at 7 a.m. this morning. It has "warmed up" to -5 this afternoon.
I can only imagine your utility bill, Cheryl! Today, we finally had to turn on the heat for the first time this winter. It’s 21 right now, wind chill of 9. It’s going to actually drop to 9 later tonight.
It was -5 this morning but right now it is 24. After a week of bitter cold weather 24 feels like 50. We are going to get blasted with 8 inches of snow and bitter cold returns on Friday with 35 to 50 mph wind. Only 28 more days of this for me if God's willing!
28 and cloudy, snow just to the south. Might get a few flurries but that will be all. Returning to colder and windy tomorrow
19, on the way to single digits. Since it didnt get above freezing today, we will surpass the 1917 record of longest consecutive days under freezing. And absolutely no snow to speak of. Ugh.
