Not too bad today but it’s going to get really cold in a few days... and just when I’ve just decided to not drive due to The Beast.

Yikes, Cheryl. It’s getting so cold that Fahrenheit and Celsius are merging. My sister in law in Manitoba told us it was - 42 degrees not including windchill today. I think that’s -45 F.

It was -2 C here today and right now at 9:43 PM Mountain Time it’s 0. Usually in winter it gets colder as the sun goes down. Weird.

Just checked and it's -17 with -32 windchill. It's supposed to get colder as the night goes on. Seems like the whole state has shut down. Schools have been closed for the past two days, no mail delivery and most places of business are closed. Even Walmart is closing at night. I haven't stuck my nose out the door for three days straight. I don't even want to know how cold that feels.

Just above freezing here today. But Monday will have a high of -26 C (-15F). I’ll get out for my stumbling walkies while I can!

I can’t believe what severe winter you have had so far!
We have had 60 today which is not normal temperature for February! There is blossom on trees and some people have been wearing short sleeves. I do not want winter to be back! Anything can happen though.

Anne I can’t even attempt to imagine what it feels like at such low temperature. Over here all schools would be closed ha ha
It has been 42 today which is a norm for this time of year.

At that windchill it feels painful before you even get to feel cold! It’s better today - high of -4 Celsius, nice and sunny. I planted some seeds in indoor pots.

44 degrees. Raining buckets. Wind is blowing around everything that isn't tied down. Come on Mother Nature. It's almost June!

A mere 4°C difference at near antipode—your neck of the woods being cooler in the spring, than it is to mine in autumn, or fall.
