What have you sewn lately?

 

My okesa or outter robe. As a Zen preist we wear three robes. One each for the countries of origin of Zen Buddhism- India, China and Japan. The outter robe is required to be sewn by hand by the monk. I have been sewing for about 6 months and my ordination is on June 10th.
