Hello All, I just wanted to share my experiences and gratitude for finding this site which has really saved my life. I have been struggling with this for over 4 years and been to many doctors and found everything to be consistent with what I have read here. The short version of my story is that I discovered Valtrex anti-virals work before I knew this was connected to the herpes virus which can cause seasonal cold sores. And most recently I accidently discovered various forms of dramamine and meclyzine can contain the worst of the vertigo symptoms which is obviously huge. This disease almost cost me everything as you all know it can wreck your life. Doctors were largely clueless even ENT's and specialists that claim to know - exactly as was detailed here. I have started the anti-viral vitamin regiman and valtrex and will be working with a naturopath doctor as well. I will keep this bookmarked and share my experiences. Thank You all for doing the same it really helps!!

Interesting to note that I have been experimenting by cutting back on my valtrex by splitting the 1 gram tablets into smaller pieces. I am down to about 250mg a day (while taking the full JOH vitamin regimen) and while my vertigo symptoms have been in check I got a cold sore on my inner lip yesterday. (it is that time of year) I took about 700 mg of the valtrex and when I woke up it was gone. I am going to take that as a sign to use at least 500 mg a day as a baseline and see if anything like that happens again.
